Charity which offers specialist help and advice to Deaf, Deafblind and hard of hearing people of all ages and denominations. Service include: HEAR TO HELP in-house hearing aid maintenance service; deaf awareness training; vibrant programme of social, educational and cultural activities; professional guidance on coping with a hearing loss and improving communication; Tinnitus management. Technology & Information resource room has a wide range of specialist equipment on display which people can try for themselves whilst receiving independent professional advice and help in obtaining items needed.

Provide information, advice, support and counselling to Jewish lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and those unsure of their sexuality. Helpline Mon & Thurs, 7-10pm.

Provide counselling for anyone under stress or who has a problem with relationships - whether single, married, widowed or divorced; to offer preventative counselling and advice in the form of group discussions for schools, youth clubs, engaged and newly married couples; to hold discussion groups for adults with special needs.

Counselling and support for all members of the family who have been bereaved. This is provided by trained voluntary counsellors, who are professionally supervised. Also a resource and information centre. The service is available to all jewish members of the community.

Offer telephone counselling for Jewish women who have experienced domestic violence. Also runs a befriending service for Jewish women and their children experiencing domestic violence. Has a refuge and offers informal counselling support and advice. Helpline open Mon-Thur, 9.30am- 9.30pm.

Provides a range of support to jobseekers and employers, and help is provided to the majority of jobseekers through Jobcentre Plus mainstream services. The online version of Jobcenter Plus has been replaced by Universal Jobmatch (link below) but people requiring telephone help can still contact Jobcentre Plus on the number provided.

Aims to raise awareness of depression throughout the country. Provide training, publications and support groups.

Aims to provide children with sports wheelchairs and give an opportunity for participation in sports through help with training and travel to sporting events. Activities include giving children with a disability the opportunity to participate in sports including: marathons, athletics, skiing, rugby, basketball, fencing, tennis and snooker. Also helps with the provision of manual wheelchairs, trikes for children to use every day at home, to go to school and enable them to play with their friends.

Jumbulance Trust exists to make it possible for severely disabled and sick people to travel on holidays and day outings which for most would be well nigh impossible by any other means.
