DLF's summary:
Closed circuit television for people with a visual impairment, which magnifies text electronically and displays it on a monitor. Consists of a camera on a mounted horizontal arm above a sliding viewing table, and a black and white or colour monitor. Camera is hand-focusing and a negative or positive magnified image is displayed on screen. Magnification is from 3 to 70 times normal image. Text can be windowed horizontally or vertically, underlined or overlined and contrast can be enhanced. Monitor can be positioned where required for optimum viewing. Monitor available in a choice of sizes. Camera position can be altered and directed at wallcharts etc. Optional trolley.
