MHRA field safety notice issued regarding the wheelchair's controls. Read the MHRA field safety notice

MHRA device alert issued. Further to the field safety notice issued below a medical device alert has now been issued. If the user is powering the wheelchair forwards or backwards and the wheelchair is prevented from doing so, there is potential for the wheelchair to overheat. The chances of this are increased if third parties have replaced (or amended the software parameters for) the joysticks or control modules. Read the MHRA device alert
