Manufacturer's product description
mBox Repeater mBox Repeater is a radio receiver and transmitter in the same unit. By placing an mBox Repeater between a wireless assistance alarm and the alarm-receiving unit you can increase the effective range of the radio unit and be certain that the signal from a radio alarm button will reliably reach the receiver. mBox Repeater can easily be connected to CareTechÃÂs various carephones and alarm transmitters. mBox Radio transmitter The mBox Radio Transmitter is a versatile unit that can be used to supplement conventional alarms devices such as fixed alarm transmitters with wireless alternatives. When an individual in care is unable to press a portable alarm button a disability aid can easily be connected to the mBox Radio Transmitter and can then be attached to a wheelchair or bed. It can also be connected to existing alarms. mBox radio receiver Alarm systems that do not have a facility for use with portable alarm buttons can easily be supplemented with an mBox Radio Receiver. By connecting the radio receiver to an input in the existing system, CareTech radio alarm buttons and other wireless alarm transmitters can be connected to the alarm system, giving a high degree of flexibility for staff and for individuals in care. mBox door alarm The mBox door alarm is very easy to install and is completely wireless. A small magnet is attached to the door, and the transmitter itself is attached to the door frame. A built-in timer makes it possible to set the alarm for automatic operation at certain times. The mBox Door Alarm alerts carers if an individual with dementia leaves the accommodation, while authorized staff can simply press the bypass button to pass without activating the alarm.
