Low Vision Cocoons offer a full spectrum of filters designed to enhance contrast and/or reduce glare for those with low vision impairments. The integrated side shields are precisely regulated to match the exact transmission rates and UV absorption curves of the front filters. As with all Polare lens systems, the filters are protected by a one year scratch resistance warranty. The patented frames feature Flex2Fit adjustable temples and a unique Soft Touch finish to enhance comfort during extended wear. The adjustable Flex2Fit system enables the wearer to manually contour the temples for a personalised fit that is extremely secure with a minimal amount of temple pressure. All frames feature a limited lifetime warranty and include a custom designed case and lens cloth.
Popular for its abilities to reduce glare and increase contrast, our hazelnut filters are incredibly versatile and popular as a treatment for low vision ailments. Its unique tint helps it to filter 96% of blue light, easing eyestrain and allowing for clarified object definition. The relatively low light transmission reduces glare and makes it useful for outdoor activities, but it is also an incredibly helpful indoor lens as well.
