Vibrating or conductive phones & pulsating handsets

This section includes vibrating phones are also called conductive phones or 'bone phones' and are designed for people with conductive hearing loss, which is a condition that affects the middle ear. A vibrating phone works like a standard corded telephone but has a vibrating earpiece which the user holds behind their ear against the bone.
