Large number, or shaped button corded telephones

Telephones with large keys and/or enlarged numbers may be helpful for people with some residual vision. Some telephone keypad buttons have varying shapes to facilitate identification by touch. Most push-button telephone keypads have a raised dot on key five. Large or well spaced buttons may be helpful for a person with reduced dexterity. However, large buttons on telephone keypads do not always have large numbers; this should be checked before rental or purchase. View relevant references ‣
