Extra warm outerwear

Clothing for outdoor warmth should be wind proof to counteract wind chill. Ski-wear which is light, wind proof and roomy with big fastenings is often a reasonably priced source of warm outerwear. Salopettes can be worn indoors. Ski-wear is seasonally available from sports shops and major retailers. Silk gloves worn underneath wool or leather gloves will keep hands warmer and a second pair of socks, particularly silk, will keep feet warmer. Workwear firms often have a range of clothing used by workers in refrigerator rooms which may be suitable in some circumstances.
