Alternative computer input devices; hand operated

This section includes controls operated by hand movement or touch sensitive panels. Touch sensitive panels or pads are a mouse alternative and can be placed on the user's desk or held in their hand. The pointer is moved across the screen by sliding a finger across the surface of the panel or pad. Clicking is done using buttons or by tapping lightly on the surface of the pad.

Hand controls are available that move the pointer across the screen according to the angle at which the controller is held. For example tilting the hand to the right will move the pointer to the right of the screen.
